Game Outlook:
Two teams that played each other twice last year, once in the preseason and once in the post season. TCP won both of those contests a year ago but the Warriors are a different team this year, literally. Newcomers have joined the program and the biggest impact has been made by running back Dylan Tipps. He has given the Warriors an added dimension of speed at the running back position. The other running back is Cody Jess and they are the two leading rushers and receivers for the Warriors this season. ACH only has one blemish on their record this season and that was at Cusick earlier in the year. ACH was not at full strength going into that game, including their starting QB being out, but they are full strength now. They opened the Regional Crossover with Touchet and after a slow start, came away with a 36-20 victory.
Tri-Cities Prep has won 7 games in a row since regrouping from an over two week stretch of flu and injuries early in the season. They went undefeated in the SE League and dismantled Wilbur-Creston last Friday 50-0. Both teams look like they are going into this one healthy and loaded for bear.
A hard driving run team (ACH) vs. a team that can run, but thrives in the passing game even more (TCP). ACH's rushing attack against TCP's passing game. This one could come down to who plays their weakness the strongest. ACH's ability to put the ball in the air and TCP's ability to run the ball will play factors in this one. Neither team is terribly bad playing opposite of their strength on offense. This all adds up to be a great high school football game, 8-man style!
