ACH wins 36-20. Good competitive football game. Touchet was 8 points down and driving with three minutes left in the game but turned it over on downs deep in ach territory. Good luck to the warriors next week!

PASCO -- Will Hoppes threw for three for 207 yards and 3 TDs, and Jacob Schmidt capped a Tri-Cities Prep shutout of Wilbur-Creston with a 12-yard run as the Jaguars mercy-ruled with 5:40 to go in the third quarter in a Class 1B regional game at Edgar Brown Stadium.
"Basically took care of business, " TC Prep coach Dan Whitsett said. "Came out with a good start and defense played well. Any time you get a shutout in eight-man football, it's always a good thing."
The Jaguars play Almira/Coulee-Hartline -- which defeated Touchet 36-20.

I got promoted to the News side of the show and wont be covering 1B preps anymore. That said, I have enjoyed the hell out of it, I liked writing up the B stories and gave them just as much respect as I would the larger schools in our area (more actually than I did Port Angeles because they stink). As a partial Olympic Peninsula fan I will unabashedly root for our last team left alive this season to make it to the Dome. so Go Red Devils!
