Final Crescent 74-26 over HCP --ended in 4th. Rain, mud and cold. Evidently no shower facilities for Crescent kids. 3 hour ride back home with mud all over. Didn't rain, but there was a lot of mud and it was about 45 degrees or so. We did have a shower facility at a nearby middle school. The only place the mud was all over, was on the uniforms. Give credit to Highland Christian, they started with 9 players and ended with 8 after an injury in the 3rd quarter. What a tough bunch of kids, they played hard all game and showed a lot of heart. My source at the game must have been smoking crack!!! Sorry Anyway, great season coach R & coach H............

LQ 48 MMK 0 I heard thru the rumor mill that the Wishkah Kingsway game was pretty close until the Kingsway Qb was injured .If that is the case I hope that he is O.k. Kingsway showed a lot of heart and class when they played at the Lake and they are definitely ATTW

HUH close? I wouldnt say that. Wishkah did start out slow, Maybe a little over-confident..but .not close, the Lake Quinault-Wishkah game that was played at Quinalt was close ....but read for your self. Three players did get injured to some degree from Kings Way, but no ambulance rides, Kings Way did get better from last year, and i fear them in the future Loggers 66, Knights 26 WISHKAH — Wishkah wrapped up the undisputed Pacific Coastal League Football Association title by routing King’s Way Christian, 66-26 Saturday at Wishkah. Racking up 600 yards total offense, Wishkah (7-0, 8-2), controlled the game after the first quarter. Daniel Wareham was the leading rusher with 19 carries for 385 yards, leading receiver with 58 yards and five TDS, and one of the defensive standouts with 10 tackles. Bradley Helberg added 12 carries for 82 yards. The Knights scored first in the opening quarter. Wishkah’s Nathan Marsh connected on TD passes of 21 and 51 yards to Wareham and also scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter. He also threw an 11-yard pass to eighth-grader Brady Anderson for the final TD of the game in the third quarter. Marsh also made two 2-point conversions in the second quarter. March tossed a scoring pass to Josh Talevich in the third quarter as well as running for a 2-point conversion in that quarter. Helberg added a 20-yard TD run in the second as well as a 2-point conversion after Marsh’s first touchdown of that quarter. In the third quarter, Wareham continued to roll with 62, 42, 74, and 76 yard TD runs, respectively. Helberg added a 2-point conversion and Marsh converted two more. “We played a great game,” said coach Brad Taylor Sr. “Our line stepped up and came alive in the second quarter.” Taylor commended defenders Marsh and Ben Clark for 15 and 10 tackles, respectively. He also cited freshman Ethan Arnold for off-the-bench play. Wishkah will open tri-district play next weekend, possibly against Highland Christian. LQ 48 MMK 0 I heard thru the rumor mill that the Wishkah Kingsway game was pretty close until the Kingsway Qb was injured .If that is the case I hope that he is O.k. The King's Way QB has a broken collarbone, so he is done for the season. And wvhsfan, it was only a one to two possession game throughout the first half- I would call that somewhat close.
